Preparation (clearing, levelling and improving the ground) is the most important part. ### Who it's for It's for homeowners with worn, weedy or uneven lawns, new-build gardens with poor soil, or anyone creating a lawn as part of a garden makeover. ### When it's needed Turfing is often needed after building work, when a lawn has thinned beyond repair, or when the garden is being redesigned. ### Why professional help matters Turf laid on poor, compacted or uneven ground struggles to root. Proper preparation gives the lawn the best chance of establishing and staying level. General garden guidance ## Considerations for Your Garden Project A failing lawn rarely recovers on its own: bare patches, weeds and moss spread, and uneven ground becomes harder to mow. ### Risks and escalating costs - Turf failing to root on compacted ground - Bumps and hollows that make mowing difficult - Waterlogged areas on poorly prepared soil - Weeds returning through new turf ### Common mistakes homeowners make - Laying turf over old grass - Not levelling the ground first - Leaving gaps between rolls - Not watering properly after laying Our process ## Free Design, Quotes & Landscaping - 01 ### Free site visit Contact Oliver to arrange a free site visit and discuss your garden. - 02 ### Free garden design Professional planting plans and CAD drawings are free of charge. - 03 ### Free quote Quotes are free.
